Responsibilities & Qualifications
Position Summary
We are looking for a talented Lead Python Developer to work within the development team. This position will be located in our Pune Office.
A Day in the Life
- Develop application code according to requirements and assigned
- Contribute to lifecycle Flow and value streams by following and prescribing methodologies and best
- Mentor and coach junior development team
- Solve the most difficult software development
- Maintain balance of business and technical acumen in decision making.
- Contribute to source-code management and work item tracking best
- Contribute to the estimation process during planning
- Provide consultation to development management

Must have:
- 8+ years of work experience as a Python Developer.
- Knowledge of Python web frameworks and event-driven
- Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, Pyramid, or FastAPI).
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, TypeScript/JavaScript, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and good exposure to optimization techniques & addressing performance
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL is an added advantage but experience with any relational DB would be
- Experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) (e.g., SQL Alchemy).
- Experience with Celery (Python distributed task queue)
- Experience with RESTful API and understanding of web
- Experience with CI/ CD preferred Circle CI
- Familiarity with
- Strong unit test and debugging skills.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning
- Writing clean code and following good practices
- High attention to
- Excellent communication and problem-solving
- Excellent mentorship skills and ensure junior developers will step up & deliver as per the expectation in the.
Nice to have:
- Ability to learn new languages and
- Security background or basic 101-type understanding.
- Experience in working with
- Experience in working in scrum
