As a Technical Lead at Axi, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of 6 software engineers. You will demonstrate a solid understanding of Agile methodologies in practical work scenarios and ensure that the team follows best practices in software development. You will monitor task progress and report progress, issues, and risks to the Delivery Managers and Product Managers. Additionally, you will support the planning of software development activities, including work breakdown, estimation, proposal of technical approaches and solutions.
Your EDGE Assignment/You Will
- Lead a team of 6 software engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and ensure their effective implementation.
- Monitor task progress and report progress, issues, and risks to the Delivery Managers and Product Managers.
- Support the planning of software development activities, including work breakdown, estimation, proposal of technical approaches and solutions.
- Ensure that the work of the team is technically correct and meets the defined requirements.
- Undertake software development activities, including architectural, high-level & detailed designs, implementation of new features, bug fixes, testing of own work and that of the team prior to handover.
- Support continuous improvement relating to the development process, development environment, and tools used.
- Stay updated with new technologies and apply them appropriately.
- Design and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient software architecture following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Support the Delivery Managers by assessing solution alternatives, considering technical limitations and operational realities, and providing recommendations.
Are you the one
You need to have the following skills.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/6/7, JavaScript / TypeScript / HTML / CSS / React and related technologies.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Background in payment or financial services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experience with Azure services is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Minimum 12 years of experience and 5 years of experience as a Technical Lead.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
