Position: Technical Lead
Role Overview: This Technical Lead role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership, particularly in the blockchain domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high-performance software engineer team, including front-end, backend, and testing teams.
- Mentor and enhance the technical skill set of engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Lead the hiring and growth of the engineering team, actively participating in interviews and hiring decisions, and developing technical onboarding plans for new hires.
- Lead the development of blockchain applications, developer tools, system processes, and technical standards at scale.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate technical considerations, assess risks, and allocate resources, translating our vision into a tangible roadmap each quarter.
- Provide technical support and guidance for external partners and protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of software development experience, with at least 4 years in an engineering leadership position.
- Proficiency in modern blockchain development processes and tools, such as Solidity, Truffle, Remix, and React.
- Ability to deliver scalable and high-quality products within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile practices.
- Proven track record of scaling an engineering team and infrastructure in a rapidly growing organization.
- Hands-on experience with both SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Previous experience working in a startup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Business Development, Marketing, partners, and executive teams.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and incentivize team members in their careers, even in remote settings.
- Strong commitment to follow through on commitments both internally and externally.
- Proficient in Data Structures and Algorithms.
