ALTEN India is seeking experienced Technical Illustrators with 1-5 years of expertise, particularly in developing illustrations for Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM). The candidate should have comprehensive skills in technical drawing and illustration to support detailed maintenance documentation in aerospace projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create precise and high-quality illustrations for AMM documentation, facilitating accurate aircraft maintenance and repair.
- Collaborate with engineering and publication teams to comprehend complex systems and translate them into clear visual representations.
- Ensure compliance with ATA 100 and S1000D standards and industry-specific guidelines.
- Update and revise illustrations to reflect changes in technical data and design.
- Utilize software such as Adobe Illustrator, ISO Draw, and CATIA V5 to create scalable illustrations.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in:
- Adobe Illustrator and ISO Draw for technical illustration.
- Technical Publication standards, including ATA 100 and S1000D.
- Microsoft Excel for data management.
- CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and illustration.
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- ANSYS and Product View for design evaluation.
- 3D Printing and Arduino for prototyping knowledge.
- Technical drawing (Tec Draw) and Quicksilver for advanced documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to industry standards.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Technical Illustration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience with AMM manuals and aerospace projects.
