Job Description:

As a Technical Engineer, the primary responsibility is to design, develop, test, and certify fire and life safety glass products. This role involves providing customers with appropriate product choices that meet regulatory standards, supporting the sales network, and engaging with system manufacturers to develop unique solutions for the market. Additionally, the Technical Engineer will be responsible for expanding knowledge on product testing, engaging in techno-marketing ventures, and liaising with governing bodies on code formulation and drafting.

Role and Responsibility:

Design, develop, test, and certify fire and life safety glass products.

Provide customers with the right choice of products respecting the requirements of norms and standards.

Support the sales network in handling customer queries/requirements.

Develop a proficient understanding of global requirements for fire and life safety measures.

Create opportunities for testing new solutions based on market requirements.

Engage with system manufacturers to develop unique solutions.

Support and partner with system manufacturers in developing new systems.

Develop hands-on skills required for handling testing procedures.

Expand knowledge on product testing through rigorous practice and periodic learning.

Engage in techno-marketing ventures aimed at spreading awareness about fire and life safety.

Develop techno-marketing tools aimed at generating sales.

Liaise with governing bodies on code formulation and drafting.
