Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Draftsman or 2D-3D Visualizer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and interior design, along with a proven ability to create detailed technical drawings and design presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings based on project specifications, architectural designs, and engineering plans.
- Review project plans and technical specifications to create precise, accurate drawings.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to understand and implement project requirements.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and project modifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project-specific guidelines.
- Maintain drawing logs and related documentation for project tracking.
- Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, Vray, and other drafting tools.
- Create design presentations (3D, 2D, mock-ups, and renderings) for client review.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary details for shop drawings.
- Ensure timely delivery of all shop drawings to meet project deadlines.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of construction standards, materials, and building codes.
- Produce high-quality, accurate drawings such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Interpret and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
- Resolve technical issues related to interior construction and fit-out.
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring strong attention to detail in all drawings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical drafting within the civil and interior design sectors.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, Vray).
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, civil interiors, and MEP coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
