Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Director to lead and manage our technical team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of software development and the ability to oversee multiple projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction to the development team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Develop and implement software development best practices and standards
- Ensure the team is following agile methodologies and continuously improving their processes
- Manage and mentor team members to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure technical solutions align with business needs
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the development lifecycle
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-12 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience managing and mentoring technical team members
- Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps practices is a plus
