Technical Content Writer

1. Research, gather, and understand technical information from various sources, including interviews with subject matter experts, product specifications, and software documentation.

2. Create clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, release notes, API documentation, and troubleshooting guides.

3. Use appropriate tools and templates for documentation, such as Microsoft Word, or specialized documentation software.

4. Maintain version control and update documentation as necessary to reflect changes and improvements.

5. Incorporate visual aids, such as diagrams, screenshots, and videos, to enhance understanding and user engagement.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance testers, to gather information and clarify technical concepts.

7. Attend meetings and workshops to stay updated on project developments and changes.

8. Maintain a consistent style and tone across all documentation, adhering to the companys branding and guidelines.

9. Create documentation to support feature sets that may not have previously been documented

Requirement:

1. Bachelor s degree or the equivalent in experience in English, Communication, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Writing,

2. 3-6 years of industry experience as an effective technical writer

3. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail

4. The ability to quickly research a topic and produce relevant content while maintaining business goals and guidelines

5. Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion with minimum supervision

6. Previous experience with Git repository management (e.g., Bitbucket)
