Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with a strong background in cloud-based technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), particularly in machine learning (ML), large language models (LLMs), and generative AI (GenAI). The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation that will serve as a key resource for our development teams, customers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, system architecture guides, and online help resources for cloud-based technologies and AI products.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and developers to gather and analyze technical information and translate it into user-friendly documentation.
- Create tutorials, how-to guides, and FAQs that enhance user understanding and engagement with our products.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards and best practices for technical writing.
- Review and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, and completeness, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical writing and documentation for cloud and AI technologies.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support the development of new products and features.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a technical writer, with a strong portfolio showcasing documentation for cloud technologies and AI-related projects.
- In-depth understanding of cloud computing concepts, machine learning, LLMs, and generative AI technologies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, PowerPoint, Lucid Charts, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, or similar software.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software development processes and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus.
- Experience in creating visual documentation (diagrams, flowcharts) is advantageous.
