JOB TITLE: Technical Consultant
DEPARTMENT: SAP Delivery DSC
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3-5 Years
LOCATION: Remote / India
SAP Fiori Technical Consultant designs, develops, and implements SAP Fiori applications, which offer a consistent, user-friendly interface across SAP systems. This role combines technical expertise in SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, and SAP Gateway with the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 and Fiori Elements.
- Implement OData services for Fiori applications using SAP Gateway.
- Develop custom Fiori applications based on business requirements and ensure they integrate seamlessly with SAP backend systems.
- Analyze and debug complex Standard Fiori app code to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Configure and deploy standard Fiori applications good understanding on the custom catalog/Group and Spaces and Pages including monitoring and troubleshooting errors to ensure data consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Fiori applications and ensure high performance and reliability.
- Conduct unit testing and support integration testing to ensure the functionality and performance of Fiori applications.
- Create and manage CDS views and OData services in S/4HANA, providing real-time data access and reporting.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and actively participate in training and certification programs to enhance technical skills.
- Work with QA teams to ensure that applications meet quality standards and user requirements.
- Proactively seek opportunities for professional development and share knowledge with team members to foster a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori design principles and architecture.
- Experience in developing custom Fiori applications using SAP UI5 and Fiori Elements.
- Good Experience in SAP Fiori troubleshooting backend OData services.
- Good practical exposure on S/4HANA development , including CDS views, and OData services.
- Familiarity with SAP ABAP programming and integration with SAP backend systems.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Keen interest in learning and adapting to new technologies with a proactive attitude towards personal and professional development.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA environments with familiarity in end-to-end implementation and support projects.
Certifications
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate, SAP Certified Application Associate) are a significant advantage.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
