Summary
Partners with Product Management to clients functional and non-functional requirements using various
elicitation and facilitation techniques. Once requirements have been collected, produces a Business
Requirements Document (BRD) or User Stories (US) that maps the clients requirements to the particular
IDeaS solution. Leads the creation of Test Plans and participates in creating the test cases. Supports the
customer during implementations and builds and monitors thereof.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Business Analysis Process including planning, requirements elicitation,
analysis, documentation, assessment and validation.
- Works closely with business subject matter experts, technical leads, solution architects, and
other stakeholders to understand, document, and communicate business and functional
requirements.
- Gathers requirements using various elicitation and facilitation techniques, and analysis of
existing documentation, business processes and procedures.
- Produces associated deliverables such as Business Requirements Document (BRDs), US, Use
Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTMs) and Workflow Diagrams.
- Identifies and addresses problems and opportunities in both As-Is and To-Be states utilizing
various tools and techniques such as Brainstorming, SWOT Analysis, Process Flowcharting,
Root Cause Analysis.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience Business Analyst Experience in an agile based software
Company
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience creating deliverables such as Business Requirements Document (BRDs), User
Stories, Use Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTMs), Workflow Diagrams.
- Demonstrates good understanding of business processes
- Able to perform effective prioritization with limited resources and drive results with high
emphasis on quality
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and relationships with business users
- Ability to develop and maintain key client relationships
- Excellent customer service approach and consultative skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
