Job Description

  1. Project Planning, Review, and Monitoring:
  • Lead the detailed planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for high-rise building projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive project reviews and give timely inputs to the executive director to enable him to monitor progress of all ongoing projects to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Implement advanced project management tools and techniques for effective tracking.
  1. Training and Team Development:
  • Conduct training programs for newly joined civil engineering trainees, as well as mid & senior level technical employees to ensure a high level of technical competency.
  • Mentor and support team members to build their skills and improve performance.
  • Develop training materials and oversee knowledge transfer sessions.
  1. Sustainability Initiatives:
  • Lead and support initiatives related to sustainable construction practices.
  • Drive the adoption of eco-friendly techniques and oversee compliance with sustainability standards.
  1. Analytics and Dashboarding:
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of project analytics dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed reports & conduct detailed data analysis on project performance and key metrics to generate critical insights & actionable.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and effective reporting.
  1. Quality Assurance and HSE Compliance:
  • Advise ED on process of enforcing stringent quality control standards and ensure adherence to safety and health guidelines.
  • Implement corrective measures and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold the quality of construction projects.
  1. Client and Stakeholder Communication:
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, project stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Provide technical insights and solutions to client requirements and challenges.
  1. Budgeting and Cost Management:
  • Prepare detailed project budgets and forecasts, ensuring projects remain within financial constraints.
  • Analyse costs, identify budget deviations, and implement measures for cost optimization.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Extensive experience in project planning, execution, and monitoring for high-rise construction.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS-Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability practices and their implementation in construction.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience in developing dashboards and data interpretation.
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and mentoring abilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • 15+ years of experience in the construction/real estate sector, with a significant portion spent managing high-rise residential/commercial projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading project teams and achieving project milestones.
  • Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
