Job Title - Technical Assistant

Job Location - Mumbai (HO)

Experience- 2 to 4 years in ship repair or shipyard

Qualification- Diploma or BE in Mechanical or Marine Engineering

Note - Ready to travel wherever our vessel's are for inspection & maintenance

Roles and responsibilities below: -

Technical:

1) Monitor operational performance of vessel via emails and noon reports.

2) Interacts with vessels Master & Chief Engineer for supplies & technical matters and report to HOD with Appropriate Action Plan.

3) Maintain complete vessels inventory of spares and stores.

4) Maintain record of consumption of L/O and F/O for all our company owned vessels.

5) Maintain PMS (Plant Maintenance Schedule) record for all our vessels.

Purchase:

1) After receiving requisitions from the vessel, scrutinize with Supdt and send to SCM department for sending RFQ

2) Prepare inhouse indents for supplies/ repairs as needed

3) Maintaining a record of requisition raised, purchase order placed, confirmation of delivery from vessel.

4) Identifying Qualified workshops and Suppliers for Maintenance works and procurements and advise Management.

5) Monitoring Payments disbursement to Vendors/ suppliers to bridge good business relationship between Company and Suppliers.
