We currently have an opening for a Technical Support Analyst based out of our Bangalore office to cover maternity leave.
About The Opportunity
The technical support analysts at Transoft are members of the DevOps Team. They provide superb technical support and customer service to Transoft's user base and Transoft's internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide superb customer service by getting to the root of the customer's issue and providing the most efficient solution.
- Provide product technical assistance to both internal and external clients. Define and diagnose issues by applying technical expertise, product knowledge, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Simulate and isolate problems in the test environment.
- Prepare and develop AutoCAD/MicroStation drawings.
- Actively assist Quality Assurance and Development teams with new software release testing and issue reporting.
- Generate documentation in the form of issue reports, technical tips and best practices.
- Communicate software related issues to product management and developers.
- Communicate client issues and feature requests to development teams for consideration in future software releases.
- Prepare and lead technical presentations for internal and external clients.
EXPERIENCE And QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in an engineering or computer related discipline
- 2-3 years experience in CAD drafting, including AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Proficient in CAD Drafting using AutoCAD or MicroStation. Knowledge of other CAD software such as Civil 3D or other civil design products would be considered an asset.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, And ABILITIES
- Excellent command of English. Other languages are advantageous.
- Ability to maintain a professional customer-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be resourceful, organized, dependable, detail-oriented, well organized, and a team player.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Programming experience, installing and configuring MS Windows, Network and CAD environments considered an asset.
- Experience working with a CRM system considered an asset.
- Able to work hours that support our international client base. Usual hours are 12:30pm to 9:30pm (including break), but on occasion shift would be moved to morning hours, starting from 6:30am or 9:00am (all times are in IST).
