THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION BASED IN BANGALORE, INDIA

THE ROLE

Responsibilities

You will be directly responsible for ensuring that every candidate for a role at MPOWER has a phenomenal recruiting experience. As a Senior Tech Recruiter, you will work with Head of Tech Recruiting to ensure engineering and analytics roles are appropriately scoped, budgeted, and that a recruiting roadmap is implemented. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of hiring for tech roles globally in a fast-paced environment, be able to expertly position and sell MPOWER opportunities, and negotiate offers with clarity and integrity. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Setting recruiting strategy for sourcing, evaluating and closing top engineering and analytics talent
  • Collaborating with the engineering hiring manager to define the talent needs, create or update job descriptions, and research compensation factors
  • Proactively sourcing diverse, high potential engineering and technical candidates with superior skills as well as culture fit and mission alignment with MPOWER's organization
  • Managing the interview process and providing candidates with a positive experience (sourcing applicants, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary phone screens, and coordinating in-person interviews)
  • Serving as tech recruiting subject matter expert for the organization and mentor for the recruiting team

The Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related Tech field
  • 4+ years of experience recruiting for tech roles and building teams in a high-paced, fast-growth entrepreneurial environment, ideally as an in-house recruiter or within an RPO environment
  • Extensive proven track record of sourcing and delivering exceptional candidates and closing roles on-time and on-budget
  • Must have strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Detail oriented, with excellent administrative and organizational skills. Motivated and driven for high impact.
  • Proficient in the use of prominent Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) platforms and tools such as Greenhouse, etc. to administer, coordinate, and track progress

A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple-time zones and sites!

In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload and tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and 80-20 everything.
