Tech Lead ? Ruby On Rails

Minimum qualification

1. Experience with developing Modern responsive web applications

2. Designing the Backend, Databases(MySQL/Postgres and Redis), REST APIs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap 4, Material Design, UI & UX

3. Experience integrating third party JS libraries/components

4. Integrating with Backend, third party APIs and Developing UI with OAuth & JWT, Localization & I18n

5. Webpack packaging & deploying the SPA apps

6. Exposure to TDD/BDD, Unit Testing, Integration Testing and ensure the UI works across all browsers, using Testcafe, Jest, Cypress like frameworks and MiniTest, RSpec, Capybara

7. Experience with Turbolinks, SASS, Webpack HTTP protocol, headers and caching

8. Thorough understanding of user experience and product strategy

9. Proficiency with Git / Version control

10. Appreciation for clean and well documented code

11. Experience working in an Agile development environment.

12. 2+ years of experience and self-starter and can work independently

Description

Tech Lead with hands on full stack RoR Development experience will be responsible for creating the backend & frontend for responsive web applications by applying UI & UX interactive and visual design principles. This individual should have deep experience delivering world class web apps from start to finish and maintaining bug-free releases.

Should be able to form a team, grow and groom them, work with them in high paced releases using Agile Development process. Work very closely with the Product Manager, QA and Founders in delivering high performance high quality products.

The ideal candidate should display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities and must be able to work in a varied, fast paced start-up environment. As well as, the ability to self-manage and work independently and manage the team.
