SEFPRO is a business unit under Saint-Gobain Ceramics. It is the only refractory group worldwide fully dedicated to and streamlined for offering top-of-the-line refractory solutions specifically to the glass industry. For nearly a hundred years, SEFPRO has played a key role in the evolution of the refractory offer available to glassmakers around the world. We aim to provide best-in-class high-performance materials and solutions that are critical to the glass industry to meet its challenges over the complete lifecycle of furnaces towards the alliance of performance and carbon neutrality. The business produces refractory solutions ranging in the fused-cast AZS ER range, the alumina Jargal range, the sintered (white bonded) range, and the feeder expendable range.We also offer partnerships through SEFPRO-Care and SEFPRO Guard for technical collaboration in the furnace life cycle.

In 2002, SEFPRO started operations when Saint-Gobain acquired a plant at Palakkad. Palakkad is a unique location for SEFPRO India, where both fused cast and sintered refractories are manufactured in the same campus. In 2015, SEFPRO India expanded its production base with the establishment of a plant in Perundurai, near Erode, Tamil Nadu. This plant manufactures and exports fused-cast alumina and fused-cast AZS (Alumina Zirconia Silica) refractories.

Qualifications:

B Tech- Mechanical / Civil

Diploma Mechanical/ Mechatronics/Civil

Experience:

Engineering freshers with good communication skills from tier 3 colleges

For diploma candidates 3-4yrs of relevant experience in product quality

Responsibilities:

• Inspection of fusedcast refractories according to SEFPRO/Customer specification, in various stages of manufacturing
• Carryout C1 Inspection and in case of rejections plan for actions on salvage / remake
• Carryout RADAR Inspection on all Glass contact blocks
• Carry out C2 inspection
• Pre-assembly drawing preparation and communication to customer service
• Preparation of quality book and maintaining records
• Manage customer inspection
