This position is a member of the Safety Operations team within Global Patient Safety (GPS) and serves as a subject matter expert and may manage one area within the Safety Operations team. The team lead will oversee daily functions and serve as a facilitator and liaison between management and the team members.E
ssential Duties and Responsibilities:M
anage daily operations of assigned staff and/or outsource vendorP
rovide direct oversight of individuals including mentoring, performance management and staffing decisionsS
upport in oversight of case processing and handling of day-to-day questions and issue resolutionP
articipate in and support management of quality control activitiesP
rovide expertise by participating in individual case safety report processing as neededP
articipate in compliance monitoring related activities including quality control metricsN
CR/CAPA ownershipE
nsure awareness of departmental and functional priorities through regular communications with the teamC
onduct training internal and external to GPSA
