Team Leader - Full Stack Development

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Leader with a proven track record in MERN/PERN stack development. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor a team of developers, ensure high-quality code delivery, and actively participate in the full software development life cycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative applications while optimizing processes for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of developers working on MERN/PERN stack applications.
• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, mentoring, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side components.
• Hands-on involvement in writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Drive continuous improvement in team performance through process optimization, knowledge sharing, and automation.
• Assist in project planning and estimation, delivering features on time and within scope.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across the stack, identifying areas for optimization.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, promoting innovative solutions within the team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on MERN or PERN stack.
• Proven experience leading a team of developers and delivering complex projects.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React.js and familiarity with modern front-end development tools and workflows.
• Strong experience in backend development using Node.js, Express.js, and working with databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern development practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
