Assists in hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of all new sales personnel.- Assists in directing and scheduling the activities of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing always.
Assists in developing the sales department budget and minimizing expenses.
- Assists in forecasting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for the department and for individual sales people and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
Assists in the development of improvement programs for sales people who are having difficulty reaching their objectives.- Ensures that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed by sales people.
Helps the sales manager maintain a balanced inventory based on customer and market statistics.
- Assists sales people in closing deals when necessary.
Shares responsibility with the sales manager for planning and leading sales meetings.- Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect Broadband sales.
Strives for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
- Maintains professional appearance.
Attends managers meetings as requested.
