Managing a team of FP&A colleagues, you will be responsible for meeting the SLAs and maintaining the quality and timeliness of the deliverables. You will also be responsible for conducting regular team reviews, developing skills within the team and managing the workload. You will also be expected to develop and maintain your own knowledge of the complete FP&A process and lead the conversations and meet the expectations of the Onshore stakeholders.
Operations Management/Operational Effectiveness
- Deliver KPIs in line with the prescribed targets
- Prioritize and organize work on a daily basis according to business priorities
- Manage resources efficiently through peaks and troughs in the business cycle
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the technical aspects of the process
- Facilitate smooth knowledge transfer within the team via well documented and updated training materials
- Develop technical training expertise within the team
People Management/ Development
- Provide direction and guidance to the team on a day to day basis
- Set objectives for direct reports and conduct regular appraisals
- Communicate regularly with team members via 1-2-1 meetings and team meetings
- Manage and delegate work fairly and effectively within the team
- Develop individuals to their full potential
- Identify and develop leadership qualities in individuals and groom them for the next level
- Responsible for managing attrition and absenteeism in the team
Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Review & Monitoring of daily deliverables for FP&A functions.
- Demonstrate the ability to reconcile financials and resolve discrepancies.
- Demonstrate an understanding of a Profit & Loss Statement.
- Ability to introduce adequate internal controls in the processes and ensure its adherence by the team
- Ability to resolve queries of the team as well as the stakeholders
- Work closely with Finance Business Partners in analyzing business performance.
- Understand the Planning process and assist with establishing yearly Plans.
- Demonstrate a willingness to participate in supporting ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Document and keep procedures for all reporting activities and tasks up to date.
- Ensure a smooth transition of new tasks from onshore stakeholders by proactively addressing requirements and providing solutions.
- Setting up Goals & Objectives for the team members.
- Conducting performance reviews and appraisals of the team members.
- Mentoring, Coaching and Guiding the team members.
- Document and keep procedures for all reporting activities and tasks up to date.
- Ensure a smooth transition of new tasks from onshore stakeholders by proactively addressing requirements and providing solutions.

- Chartered Accountant/ACCA (5 to 7 years relevant Post Qualification FP&A Experience)
- MBA Finance (7 to 9 years relevant Post Qualification FP&A Experience)
- Post Graduate (8 to 10 years relevant Post Qualification FP&A Experience)
Requirements
- Excellent understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of Alteryx, Hyperion & Smart View application preferable
- Good Problem-Solving Skills
- Decision making capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail is essential
