Location: Mumbai (Bandra Kurla Complex)
Experience: Up to 15 years of experience in a Bank or risk management consulting, in the areas of portfolio risk analytics, credit risk modeling.
Role :
- Leading and managing a team of Credit Risk Analysts to develop data driven, automated credit risk portfolio management
- Develop, monitor and publish Risk Metrics / dashboards to evaluate the quality of loan portfolios and based on analysis, recommend solutions/strategies to minimize credit risk in relevant portfolios of the Bank
- Analysis of portfolios (Risk drivers ratings, scores, delinquencies, roll rates, cure, collection efficiency, churn, concentrations, ECL) and drive risk decisions
- Manage Credit Risks in conjunction with the respective Credit division in a timely manner
- Early identification of concern accounts, forecast delinquencies / NPAs, to ensure a healthy Credit portfolio with no surprises
- Establish portfolio credit risk management performance guardrails and evaluate performance, utilize sensitivity analysis, stress testing, market trend, and other analytical methodologies to anticipate any credit trends or deterioration and obtain insights into portfolio performance
- Closely monitoring performance of portfolios and comparison with peers
- Monitoring external environment/ developments and correlating with impact on the lending portfolios of the Bank
- Automation of existing reporting and analytical processes through systems
- Delivering presentations for senior management, Board, Regulator that include portfolio activities, analytics of risk, performance, emerging trends
- Maintain awareness of current regulatory/industry trends impacting the Bank's credit areas.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, and internal guidelines with reference to Credit Risk and ensure no adverse audit observations
- Promote teamwork within the department to ensure that knowledge and experience is shared among team members.
- Develop and motivate team members, identify development needs and provide training opportunities
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of experience influencing senior level executives or regulators
- CA or MBA with FRM preferred
- Understanding of analyzing various types of credits
- Proven management and supervisory skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal/written communication skills and strong project management skills
- Above average to advanced excel skills
- Experience in working with Python, SQL or SAS
