Key Responsibilities
- Teach music classes with a focus on guitar and vocal skills to students of various age groups.
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different skill levels, from beginners to advanced students.
- Encourage and nurture a love for music in students, fostering creativity and self-expression.
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help students improve their musical skills.
- Collaborate with other music teachers and staff to develop and enhance the school's music program.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest music education trends and incorporate them into teaching practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
- Proficiency in guitar playing and strong vocal skills.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in an educational institution.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in conducting school choirs or music ensembles.
- Knowledge of a variety of musical styles and genres.
