Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to enable a complete understanding of business requirements for more effective testing and implementation of technology solutions.
Evaluate new technology features, develop, and execute test cases, and summarize results clearly.
Serve as a Tax SME for technology teams, aiding in refining and implementing new requirements.
Assist in implementing new solutions and envisioning new ways to use existing ones.
Clarify application functions, business processes, and data flow to align requirements with technology capabilities.
Conduct functional walkthroughs, develop end-user documentation, and present live training sessions.
Role requirements
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in Partnership Tax Compliance (financial services and/or real estate) and complex allocation systems.
Prior public accounting experience with mid to large size firm(s) or professional services.
Mandatory: Strong understanding of internal tax department software tools (CCH Axcess, GoSystem, ONESOURCE).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with both functional and technical resources.
Advanced experience with Excel, Alteryx, Visio, Microsoft 365, and Power BI preferred.
