EisnerAmper is seeking a Manager Tax Technology. EisnerAmper has a number of incredible opportunities with the Tax Technology team that will be focused on Partnership Tax. The professional will act as a solution tester and integrator, combining knowledge of Partnership Tax with technical competence. This role will have the opportunity to drive and enhance the overall firm-wide strategy around tax process standardization and effective use of tax technology tools to support the tax practice across service lines. You will work with the firm s tax, information technology, and transformation team leadership and employees to identify future tax technology needs, including opportunities for process improvements, automation, efficiency gains, and application of tax process and technology best practices. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role within the firm where you will work on a variety of projects leveraging your tax expertise in the financial services, corporate, or individual area with your experience and interest in technology to help reimagine the way we work and to help build leading edge technology.

Along with the Product Owner and Business Transformation team this individual will also facilitate and participate in testing and implementing new technology and processes as we'll as become a subject matter expert for the focus area. The ability to handle multiple competing priorities and communicate effectively will be critical to success in this role. Equally important will be the ability to apply tax expertise and experience to evaluating the technologies and making recommendations to the product team for future enhancements.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
- Proactively evaluate current tax technology and processes and implement transformative solutions that standardize, streamline, centralize, automate, track, and analyze business processes.
- In partnership with the information technology department, prototype, develop, enhance, and implement technology solutions and best practices.
- Serve as a liaison between the Tax and Information Technology departments improving the understanding of the tax department s process improvement/information technology needs, goals, and challenges.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner to the enterprise information technology team.
- Documenting process workflows, current and future state.
- Build business cases, identify key stakeholders, and lead presentations with leadership
- Translate a goal/vision into a timeline with deliverables: Manage relationships to track and monitor workstream(s) progress, ensure timely reporting of milestone and dependency status, monitor risks and issues to escalate to leadership, and execute day-to-day project management activities across the transformation lifecycle of initiate, plan, and execute.
- Develop and deliver training on new technology and processes.
Basic qualifications for the opportunity
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred. MBA is preferred.
- We are looking for someone with 5 + years of experience (4 years in Technology space and 1-2 years on compliance side as we'll within the 5 years complete period)
- 4 + years of tax technology/transformation experience (financial services and/or real estate) with a public accounting firm or large global corporation.
- 2+ years of tax compliance experience in the corporate, financial services or individual/private wealth advisory industry.
- Experience with tax software tools, Thomson Reuters Go-Systems, CCH Axcess, OneSource
- Experience in working with software developers to communicate business requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in project ownership, and ability to drive outcomes from inception until full business value.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements for technology implementations/process improvements.
- Experience documenting end-to-end processes using tools such as Visio, Alteryx
- Advance experience with Excel is required
Ideally, you'll also have
- Exposure to Microsoft Power BI suite, the development of databases. Bots, RPA, and experience developing ETL solutions.
- Proficiency or knowledge in some or all of the following: Power Query, Power BI/Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, data modelling, dashboarding, data pre-processing, application integration techniques, SharePoint development, VBA, SSIS, SQL
