Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Tamil Interpreter to facilitate effective communication between Tamil-speaking clients and our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong language skills in both Tamil and English, with the ability to provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretations in various settings.
Interpret spoken communication between Tamil-speaking clients and English-speaking staff.
- Translate verbal communications during meetings, interviews, and other interactions.
Ensure accuracy and clarity in interpretation, maintaining the intent and tone of the original message.- Provide cultural context as needed to facilitate understanding and rapport.
Prepare and review documentation to ensure accurate translation of key information.
Proficiency in Tamil and English, both spoken and written.
- Proven experience as an interpreter or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of cultural nuances and effective communication techniques.- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in various settings, including but not limited to meetings, legal proceedings, and healthcare environments.
- Relevant certification or formal training in interpretation (preferred but not required).
