PENNEP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent for our organization. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of successfully recruiting candidates across a variety of positions and industries, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities - Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements, qualifications, and competencies for open positions.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, including job postings, social media, and networking.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews with candidates.
- Conduct in-person and virtual interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, and make recommendations to hiring managers.
- Facilitate the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits with candidates.
- Manage the applicant tracking system and maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress through the hiring process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and other organizations to build a pipeline of potential candidates.
- Stay up-to-date on current recruitment trends and techniques to continually improve the recruiting process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring practices.
Requirements - 1+ years of experience in talent acquisition or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully recruiting top talent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of recruitment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Nice to Have - Ability to use Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Forms, etc.) or related software.
- Good knowledge of job portals like (Indeed, LinkedIn, Well-found).
