Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key role within the organization, responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's staffing needs. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the organization's success by identifying and acquiring candidates who align with the company culture and possess the necessary skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top talent through various channels
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition
- Utilize HRIS and other recruitment tools to track and manage candidate activity
- Participate in job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities to promote the organization and attract potential candidates
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process
- Negotiate job offers and manage the offer process
- Conduct reference and background checks on potential candidates
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment and hiring activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the recruitment process and candidate experience
- Assist with onboarding activities for new hires
- Establish and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent sources
- Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar recruitment role
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and talent assessment methods
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Experience using HRIS and other recruitment tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Solid negotiation and influencing abilities
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
- Proactive and results-focused approach to recruitment
- Certification in HR or recruitment is a plus
- Experience in employer branding and social media recruitment strategies is advantageous
