Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key role within the organization, responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's staffing needs. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the organization's success by identifying and acquiring candidates who align with the company culture and possess the necessary skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top talent through various channels
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Utilize HRIS and other recruitment tools to track and manage candidate activity
  • Participate in job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities to promote the organization and attract potential candidates
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process
  • Negotiate job offers and manage the offer process
  • Conduct reference and background checks on potential candidates
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment and hiring activities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the recruitment process and candidate experience
  • Assist with onboarding activities for new hires
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent sources
  • Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar recruitment role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and talent assessment methods
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience using HRIS and other recruitment tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Solid negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
  • Proactive and results-focused approach to recruitment
  • Certification in HR or recruitment is a plus
  • Experience in employer branding and social media recruitment strategies is advantageous
