Job Purpose
- Ensures systems and processes are adhered to by team members
- Responsible for complying with state and local employment laws as well as audit requirements
- Develop and implement ideas for improving the talent acquisition process identify key sourcing channels, develop and implement creative sourcing strategies, leveraging social media channels, employee referrals, etc; creating and maintaining a candidate pipeline.
- Partner with TA heads in the selection process, adopting the appropriate interview assessment methods and sharing best practices
- Build strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, including different Regions, internal & external.
- Possess a strong ability to influence and align key decision makers
- Ability to translate the sourcing strategy to the team that drives resourcing performance and understand where and when to intervene in areas that will drive greatest performance impact.
- Responsible for end to end performance of the sourcing, screening and scheduling function for his/her set of portfolio and drive the performance possibility
- Embedding the change to internal and external resourcing processes and capabilities to ensure we achieve our performance ambition
- Responsible for determining current staffing needs and producing forecasts
- Communication with customers/partners/media/internal
- Hiring/Training/Mentoring
- Lead the team and provide standard service in line with agreed KPIs, SLAs for GIC needs.
- Own all relevant Compliance policies and tools that enable the resourcing process and search for ways to innovate and drive improvements. This includes controls requirements for resourcing activity.
- Drives best practice for the employee referral program to enable a truly global program for internal engagement and external hiring
- Drive best hiring practices in the Sourcing function, optimize source mix, drive social media hiring, ensuring the provision of value add service to hiring whilst containing / reducing agency spend and other related costs
- Responsible for continually evolving the resourcing service and looking to leverage scale and efficiencies with key suppliers
Job Responsibility
- Deep understanding of the sourcing, ER, IJP, Campus hiring, C2H hiring process and current talent acquisition trends
- The candidate must have proven leadership and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong interpersonal and cross cultural relationships
- An ability to work in the most confidential situations gaining trust through absolute discretion and respect from colleagues and stakeholders alike
- Ability to listen but also persuasively convey opinions and recommendations
- Strong analytical skills ensuring that data is used to create powerful business cases as well as track and draw insight to generate action plans to achieve objectives and course correct
- Exceptional communications skills both written and verbal and be confident to present with impact and credibility
- A continuous improvement mind-set, always evaluating programs and tools and identifying areas for improvement
- Responsible to fulfill agreed-upon hiring targets and achieve SLAs for Average Time to Fill
Qualification
- Advanced or basic degree (MBA in HR is preferable) from a reputed institute.
- Total of 9 to 12 years of prior experience in Talent Acquisition roles. Out of which, at least 2 to 4 years exclusive experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Expert knowledge of human resources laws
Experience
- Ability to maintain a thorough understanding of the employment landscape, specifically in the technology, business operations for a tech-insurance services, which you use to implement smart recruiting strategies
- Drive additional value when recruiting via smart networking strategies
- Process orientated with an aptitude for building out workflows and/or communication schedules that work across time zones for both candidates and hiring managers
- Experience in building end-to-end processes which improve candidate experience, time to fill, cost per hire, and overall efficiency in a high volume recruiting environment
- Expertise in data-driven decision making in a recruiting environment. One who prefers making decisions based on deep analysis when it comes to evaluating sales achievements and course correcting
Knowledge and Competencies
- Market Intelligence is highly regarded, great market intelligence understanding the available talent in the market and position hiring for.
- Great assessors of talent, working with the hiring manager to understand the skills needed to do the role and what the market has to offer.
- TA Managers are relationship builders connecting and building relationships with candidates, referrals channels and within groups, clubs and professional associations.
- Naturally curious by nature and use sourcing skills to find and uncover talent, whether it's within the applicant tracking system (ATS), candidate relationship manager (CRM) and any other preferred tools.
- Communication is essential especially offline and online activities including social media, email and in person communication.
