Overview
The Talent Acquisition Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the talent acquisition team with various recruitment activities. This position is important for sourcing and attracting top talent to the organization, contributing to the growth and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with sourcing and engaging potential candidates through various channels
- Support the recruitment team in screening resumes and scheduling interviews
- Participate in initial candidate interviews to assess their fit for the organization
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand their requirements and assist in creating job descriptions
- Help organize and attend career fairs and recruitment events to promote the organization
- Manage candidate databases and ensure all information is accurately documented
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires
- Assist in the creation of recruitment reports and analytics for performance tracking
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the recruitment process and employer branding initiatives
- Provide administrative support to the talent acquisition team as needed
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of recruitment processes and best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong administrative skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Proactive and eager to learn with a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their role in recruitment is a plus
- Previous internship or work experience in HR or recruitment is advantageous
