Job Title: Senior T24 Business Consultant (10+ Years)
Job Summary:
The Senior T24 Business Consultant will leverage extensive experience in core banking implementations and financial services consulting to deliver high-impact solutions for clients using the Temenos T24 platform. As a senior-level consultant, this role involves driving strategic business decisions, leading complex implementations, and mentoring junior consultants. The consultant will work closely with senior client stakeholders to align T24 solutions with long-term business objectives and regulatory requirements, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale, global projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Client Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior management at client organizations, providing strategic guidance on how Temenos T24 can support their business goals.
- Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and strategy sessions to understand long-term business objectives and translate these into technical solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for value-added services and system optimization.
- End-to-End T24 Implementation Leadership:
- Lead and manage large, complex T24 implementation projects, from inception through to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Oversee the configuration and customization of T24 modules, ensuring that solutions align with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technical, functional, and business) to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Solution Architecture & Design:
- Provide leadership in designing T24-based solutions that align with the clients business architecture and strategy.
- Guide the development of functional and technical specifications, ensuring a scalable and robust design.
- Review and approve customization requests and technical enhancements to ensure they meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance:
- Anticipate project risks and create mitigation strategies to avoid delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, particularly in regions with strict banking regulations.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks and supervise user acceptance testing (UAT) and system integration testing (SIT).
- Mentorship & Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of consultants, fostering knowledge transfer and professional growth.
- Provide leadership to junior team members, offering guidance in complex problem-solving and decision-making.
- Contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement within the consulting team.
- Business Development & Pre-Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide expert input during the pre-sales process, including solution demonstrations and RFP responses.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the expansion of services with existing clients.
- Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and other forums to represent the company and showcase expertise.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 15+ years of experience working with Temenos T24 or other core banking platforms.
- Proven track record in managing complex, multi-million-dollar T24 implementations in the banking and financial services sector.
- Extensive experience in business consulting, process analysis, and solution architecture for banking systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep expertise in Temenos T24 functionality, architecture, and integration capabilities.
- In-depth understanding of core banking operations (Retail, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Payments, etc.) and industry trends.
- Proficient in regulatory compliance and risk management as it relates to core banking systems.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and other database systems, with the ability to oversee data migration projects.
- Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
