The Impact you will have in this role:
The Systems Engineering family is responsible for the entire technical effort to evolve and verify solutions that satisfy client needs. The primary focus is centered on reducing risk and improving the efficiency, performance, stability, security, and quality of all systems and platforms. The Systems Engineering role specializes in the analysis, evaluation, design, testing, implementation, support, and debugging of all middleware, mainframe, and distributed platforms, tools, and systems of the firm.
Your Primary Responsibilities:- Act as a technical expert on one or more applications applied by DTCC
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with Incident, Change Management, and project management systems to respond to clients based within SLAs.
- Coordinates problem management and resolution among a variety of functional areas and provides subject matter expertise support for diagnosing and resolving problem.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical analysis concerning operating system, network, and application performance issues to resolution..
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Talents Needed for Success:
- Experienced in working as a windows server administrator. Windows server experience preferred (2-3 years).
- Windows server administrator will be responsible for providing tier-2 support for Windows based systems and services (Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, Active Directory, VMware, DNS, SCCM, SQL, MS Cluster Services, Networking)
- Experience in supporting NetBackup and disaster recovery infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of network device management, switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers would be a plus.
- Working knowledge of Linux OS would be a plus
- Demonstrates strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced in working with a geographically separated (onshore + offshore) team.
