Job Title:Systems Engineer - AS400/AutoSys

Location: Bangalore-Manyata Tech Park

Business & Team: CTO -GHS - Compute & Cloud SOE SAW-SCSO Service Operations & Engineering

Roles & responsibilities:

Within CTO resides Specialised Compute. As part of the Specialised Compute Service Operations team you will be assisting operationally delivery compute platform that powers CBA's applications and Customer Experience.The wider Specialised Compute Services team delivers specialised, high value, services and hosting within CommBank Enterprise Services, using AIX (pSeries), AS400 (iSeries), Nonstop (Tandem), x86, Autosys, and XCOM. This environment is large and complex presentinga number ofexciting challenges to be involved in.You are anengineer who will be supporting multipleservices, in a 24x7x365 team focusing on initial triage of Nonstop, AS400, Autosys and XCOM and involved in automation of environments through the monitoring of our services through Splunk dashboards.

• Monitoring of alerts, incidents and Service Requests in the internal workflow tools
• Level 1 and level 2 support for the platforms with initial triage of incidents and service requests.
• End to end ticket handling in all workflow tools according to agreed SLAs and internal procedures.
• Common Mailbox management - incoming and outgoing communication
• Execution, creation and update of SOPs and technical documentation
• Raising and execution of changes
• Vulnerability management of above base Wintel software
• Health checks with communication and escalation to both internal and application teams as required.
• Participate in standups and backlog tickets.

Essential skills:

• 4+ Years of experience in relevant filed
• Exposure to one of the following platforms: AS400, NonStop, Autosys, XCOM, Wintel patching
• Administration of AS400, NonStop, Autosys and XCOM is advantageous.
• Level 2
  • AS400 - Halcyon, OS patching, virtualisation
  • NonStop - TACL commands, WebViewPoint Enterprise
  • Scheduling - Linux and Wintel exposure and access, gil loads

Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
