Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Jira/Confluence Administrator with 4-7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Jira environments, scripting, and working with APIs. This role requires a willingness to work in shifts to ensure continuous support and availability of our Jira systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Jira and Confluence environments, including configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Develop custom scripts and automations using Jira Script runner, Groovy, or other scripting languages to enhance Jira functionality.
Utilize Jira APIs to integrate with other tools and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and automation.
Provide technical support to Jira users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems efficiently.
Configure and customize Jira workflows, fields, screens, and permissions to meet the needs of various departments.
Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and uptime.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 4yrs of hands-on experience in administering JIRA and Confluence.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) and experience with Jira Script runner.
Strong understanding of Jira REST APIs and experience in integrating Jira with other tools.
Familiarity with different hosting such as Cloud based and AWS Data Center environments.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support users across various departments.
Willingness to work in shifts and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
Any Atlassian certification or its equivalent is a plus.
