About the Position:We are looking for a System Product Engineer - Manager to join the Product Development at Propulsion Solutions team, reporting directly to the Product Development Manager
This position is based at our office in Manesar.
Your Responsibilities will be:Manage lead and mentor team of highly competent and motivated System Product Engineers, coordinating with various functions locally and Globally and ensuring project deliveriesEnsure and certify that customer technical requirements (internal and external) at system level are properly considered and fulfilled.Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across Functional teams. Ensures on-time, on-spec and on-budget delivery.Be the SPOC for all Engineering activities internally inside Marelli and also with customer.BE responsible for managing & clearing all Quality gates as per the defined processLead the system DFMEA/FTA activity and coordinate the team supporting PMO in sharing the results with customers.Manage & represent Marelli Engineering in the Project Reviews (Gx Milestones).Be responsible for the definition and creation of the lessons learnt.Support PMO for the definition and management of the system risk assessment.Ensure the validation coordinating with all the technical references involved in the project.Define the development plans in agreement with System Engineering and PMO to optimize R&D costs avoiding reworking and related waste and losses.Plan and manage the needs of internal prototypes to optimize the project costs.Support the benchmark activities to identify product improvements.Be responsible for the product delivery (e.g., RIM).Lead the Product Development activities within the PMO Project Core Team.Be responsible for technical Open Point List for each project in coordination with PMO.Support PMO during the project timing definition and ensure its compliance, coordinating with the technical team involved (each project deliverable).Be responsible for coordinating the deliverables timeline within the engineering departments.
What Qualifications you will bring:Electronics or Mechanical or Automobile Engineering Degree (preferably Master's12-14 years of experience in Powertrain (engine or transmission) calibration domain8-10 years of experience to manage activity at customer premises.

Expectations from you in this position:As SPE-manager this position will be responsible for delivering the project deliveries as per the agreed Project milestones respecting the Q-C-D.
He/ She shall be the SPOC for all engineering activities and will be supported by SPEs working for various customers/ projects.
