nPosition Overview:

nAs the System Hardware Architect, you will join our technical leadership, responsible for the hardware architecture of high-performance AI platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align hardware design with software development and market needs, lead a team of experts in the discovery, design, and deployment of cutting-edge hardware solutions, navigate through complex engineering challenges, turning obstacles into opportunities for innovation.

nWhat you'll do:

• 
  nLead the design and development of platform HW architecture.

n

• nCreate detailed platform hardware specifications, including block diagrams, interfaces, and component selection to guide the design and development teams.

n

• nCollaborate with cross-functional domains, including SoC, Package, PCB, Electrical, Thermal, Mechanical, and Technology, and develop system specifications that consider trade-offs between power/performance and cost.

n

• nLead the team of hardware engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship, ensuring projects are successful.

n

• nCoordinate with the BIOS/OS teams to lead platform power on and provide all inputs from the platform side to the validation teams.

n

• nStay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities to optimize hardware components and interfaces for performance and efficiency.

n

• nLead prototype development and validation efforts to demonstrate system feasibility, performance targets, and compliance with industry standards.

n

• nConduct testing and debugging to ensure system reliability and performance.

n

• nEstablish quality assurance processes and standards for hardware development.

n

• nDefine and conduct reliability testing plans to validate system robustness, perform failure analysis, and implement corrective actions.

n

• nLead product qualification activities according to industry standards and regulations. Prepare documentation and reports for qualification tests and certifications.

n

• nClosely follow academic researchers and industry developments in HPC and AI architectures for training and inference applications.

nWhat you'll need to be successful:

• 
  nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field.

n

• nMinimum 15 years of industry experience in system architecture design and development.

n

• nSolid track record of successful platform hardware designs.

n

• nExperience with IP/technology development and integration is an added advantage.

n

• nExpertise in semiconductor technologies, digital/analog circuit design, high-speed interfaces (SerDes, HBM, PCIe), and familiarity with industry-standard design tools (Cadence), simulation software, and motherboard design methodologies
