Under general direction, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs complex software programs for enhancements and new products
Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools
Has system-wide responsibility on complex projects and components
Provides direction to team members and is a key contributor
May solve highly technical complex problems and be called on to consult for other projects
Provides coaching to junior-level employees
Role typically requires between 5 and 8 years of experience
