Role Summary:
As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of computer systems, physical and virtual servers. Also responsible for the network infrastructure management. You will be part of a team that ensures the proper functioning of the client/server hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and servers.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of systems.
- Manage and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network infrastructure issues.
- Administration of DNS, DHCP, AD DS, WDS, WSUS. Server operating systems.
- Domain policies and restrictions implementation.
- Administration of IIS, Active Directory & Desktop administration. Administration of Hyper-V, Visual Studio & application administration, MDM Administration is a plus
- VM Creation, Backup, Restore and Replication for Disaster Recovery. Printer Server Management and HHT administration. Mobile Device Management. OS Provisioning, Updates, and patching. Laptop Management.
- Administer the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems.
- Cisco Firewall administration preferrable.
- Network policies and restrictions implementation. Network monitoring & log analysis.
- Network capacity Planning, Throughput allocation to Servers and Endpoints.
- Analyzing deviations to security definitions, estimate risks of it and define actions to be taken
- Site to Site Tunnel VPN management. SSL VPN Management.
- Coordinating with Support teams in helping Client network and Server communication issues.
- Follow up with the vendors in case of any hardware failure in the network or server or laptops.
- Total Inventory Management.
- Patch management
- Apple device management tool
- Sentinel One administration
- Tenable Administration
- Employee Onboarding and offboarding process
Skills & Abilities:
- Windows 2022 DATA Center Administration, AD, DHCP, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, WDS.
- Virtualization using Hyper-V or VMWare.
- Good experience in Desktop/Laptop administration troubleshooting
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
- Application administration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and security standards.
- Expertise in IPS and IDs implementation.
- Experience in network administration. Familiarity with access control models, wireless controllers, and network security.
- Strong experience in installing Routers/Switches & Firewall. Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS)
- Strong experience on S1 and tenable vulnerability management tool.
- Strong Experience on MacBook enrolment with JAMF apple MDM solution.
- Ability to work independently. Good at organizing and problem-solving skills.
Education And Experience-
- Bachelors / master's degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years of technical experience with proven experience in server, network administration and desktop administration.
- Professional and vendor related certifications such as MCSA, CCNP, AWS SysOps, AWS associate.
