System Engineer

Skills Required:

Candidate must have 6-8 years + experience with Linux/Unix administration, preferably in a large environment

Candidate should be familiar with shell scripting in bash, perl, or python

Candidate must be proficient in system administration on one or more of the following unix platforms, 1) Linux SUSE 2) RHEL Must be able to use workflow tools like BMC Service Desk/Request Center

Skills Preferred:

Knowledge in Linux server Resource has to come in Hybrid working model as per working policy

Experience Required:

6 to 8 years

GCP Certification

Tekton pipeline Teraform Ansible knowledge

Job Description:

It is an exciting time as we are changing the way we work.

While our roles are changing, we are still requiring UNIX system administration skills.

Candidate will be asked to operationally test engineering released software/OS patches packages in our lab and schedule deployment of updates across over 4000+ Unix servers.

Candidates will have opportunity to lead projects for replacement of security software, hardware updates, virtualization, etc.

Candidate will be asked to support Sunday maintenance windows (4am-10am) for patching activities
