Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Central Car configuration database and logic files for overall Platform alongside platform partners.
- Experience in SW development and debugging
- Working knowledge of scripting languages
- Help develop and maintain the EE architecture for current and further platform/s required to satisfy the vehicle features, security, and safety requirements by interfacing with business partners, electrical system and component owners.
- Contribute to the on-vehicle networks, diagnostic, and Electrical vehicle standards including supporting system and component owners to deliver them.
- Defining Clear and Compatible assumptions for each vehicle programme to deploy the features
- Work closely with future commodity and technology strategy
- Contribute to the reporting out in key technical meetings ensuring technologies and products will meet requirements
- Support the design and development of features and vehicle configuration into the Electrical Vehicle Platform
- Work with Electrical Launch Engineers to support investigations into route cause and resolution
- Supporting testing activities of the complete vehicle Electric Drive (ED) system
Skills required:
- Relevant experience of working with Automotive Industry and Electrical Architecture.
- Possession of an Electronics, Control Systems, Automotive or similar honours engineering degree. Other recognised engineering qualifications combined with relevant significant experience will be considered.
- Understanding of electrical architectures, communication protocols CAN/LIN/Ethernet/AE, and diagnostic technologies
- Working level knowledge of Systems engineering
- Understanding and experience in EE architecture, Vehicle Configuration and Variant Coding is advantageous
- Understanding and working experience with AUTOSAR.
- Strong, driven person able to deal with tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
- Excellent interpersonal & organisational skills, with good attention to detail
- 4+ year experience.
