System Administrator

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator with 3-13 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining a variety of systems including servers, networks, and databases. The candidate should have extensive knowledge of system administration best practices and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and networks
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures
• Manage user accounts and access permissions
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery plans
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth operation of systems
• Provide technical support to end-users

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-13 years of experience in system administration
• Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS
• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL and SQL Server
• Ability to write scripts in languages such as PowerShell and Bash
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
