Role Description
1. As an Office 365 Administrator, you are responsible for managing and maintaining the Office 365 environment within an organization. Your role involves ensuring that Office 365 applications and services run smoothly and securely, and that users have the necessary tools and access they need to perform their work efficiently.
2. Provide support to employees for technical and configuration issues related to Microsoft 365 applications.
3. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Office 365 services, administration tools, Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and Intune technologies.
4. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
5. Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with end-users and other stakeholders.
6. Certifications: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Office 365 Administrator and Intune Administrator can be beneficial.
Key Deliverables
1. User Management: User Accounts: Create, manage, and delete user accounts and mailboxes. Licensing: Assign and manage Office 365 licenses and subscriptions based on user needs. Permissions: Configure and manage user permissions, roles, and access controls.
2. Service Management: Configuration: Configure and customize Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. Monitoring: Monitor service health, performance, and usage to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Office 365 services and applications.
3. Security and Compliance: Data Security: Implement and manage security settings, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access policies. Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements, such as data retention and eDiscovery. Backup and Recovery: Manage data backup and recovery solutions for Office 365 services.
4. Integration and Configuration: Integration: Integrate Office 365 with other systems and applications used within the organization. Configuration: Set up and configure security policies, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and other organizational settings.
5. Reporting and Analytics: Reports: Generate and analyze reports on user activity, service usage, and performance metrics. Analytics: Use data to make informed decisions about the deployment and management of Office 365 services.
6. Intune Administration creating and managing intune security policies 3rd party application installation and vulnerability patching using Intune
