Job Description For Systems Administrator Citrix Grad
Global Operation Centre (GOC) is a global delivery center operating from Bangalore. GOC is committed to bringing, scale, process, domain expertise and tools designed to support CSG's Global Operations including the expanding Managed Services business creating scale and following the sun operating model. GOC team has 6 domain expertise (Windows. Linux, Network, OracleSQLPostgreSQL database administration, Citrix, Pure Storage, VMware, Rubrik) supporting all Global teams including APAC, EMEA and US. Currently we have 1 opening for System administration Citrix Grad positions under GOC. See below for the eligibility criteria, roles, and responsibilities.
Eligibility: BEB.TechBCAMCA 2023 or later passed out with 01-year experience in System administration or Windows Desktop Support domain.
WORK Schedules: Candidate must be willing to work in 24/7 work environment rotating in 3 shifts.
1st shift 6AM to 2:30PM
2nd shift 12PM to 8:30PM
3rd Shift 8.00 PM to 6.00 AM (Flexible)
PREFERRED SKILL SET:
Basic knowledge in one or more technologies mentioned below is
mandatory.
Knowledge of Windows system administration
Understanding in AD, DNS, DHCP, RDS and other windows technologies
Knowledge in desktop Administration, OS patching and troubleshooting
Basic knowledge on Citrix Technologies and basic experience in troubleshooting Citrix issues
Basic understanding in Networking TCP/ IP, Routing etc.
Basic knowledge of NetScaler will be an add-on advantage.
Knowledge in any Virtualization technology, preferably VMware.
Knowledge on Workgroup and Domain infrastructure
Understanding in Scripting tools PowerShell, Python, Ruby etc.
Exposure to one or more cloud technologies Ex: Azure, AWS, Google cloud, et
ITIL foundation certification with knowledge of best practices in IT operations is preferred.
Basic knowledge on SQL and Oracle Database administration
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing & Maintaining procedural documents.
- Preparing SOPs, Run books.
- User management.
- User & System auditing.
- Ticket Queue Management and assigning tickets to team members.
- Creating Incidents & Change requests.
- Gathering system generated reports.
- Preparing and sending weeklymonthlydaily report.
- Working on CSG inventory tool (GAMHAL).
- Assisting teams in Quarterly patching Desktop Build Server Build
- Attending Team and Global Meetings
