Qualification:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Environmental Science, or a relevant qualification.
Experience:
- 5-6 years of experience in Solid Waste Management projects within a Municipal Corporation.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- IEC Solid Waste Management:
- In-depth knowledge of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) strategies in Solid Waste Management.
- Ability to design and implement effective IEC campaigns to promote waste segregation, recycling, and responsible waste disposal.
- Swachh Survekshan:
- Strong understanding of the Swachh Survekshan framework and its evaluation parameters.
- Proven track record in improving city rankings in the Swachh Survekshan survey through innovative waste management practices.
- Team Handling:
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams effectively.
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and monitor team performance to achieve project goals.
- Documentation:
- Proficiency in maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports, proposals, and project plans in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including government officials, community members, and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Solid Waste Management (SWM) team to ensure efficient project execution and achievement of targets.
- Develop and implement IEC strategies to raise awareness and participation in waste management programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SWM initiatives and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for team members and community volunteers.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and environmental regulations related to waste management.
Location:
- This position is based in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, and may require occasional travel within the city for project-related activities.
