MASSIVUE is seeking a passionate and experienced Consulting practitioner to lead our Sustainability Practice. This is a highly impactful role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong sales acumen, and deep expertise in sustainability solutions. You will be responsible for driving the overall vision, strategy, and execution of our sustainability consulting practice.
In this role, you will play a key role in helping our clients in their sustainability journey and establish MASSIVUE's unique SustainAgility approach to drive revenue growth. You will leverage your expertise in sustainability reporting, frameworks, and transformation to develop and deliver impactful consulting services, solutions and trainings.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the sustainability consulting practice, aligning with the company's broader business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize key market segments and opportunities within the sustainability domain.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
2) Business Development and Sales
- Drive revenue growth by actively seeking and closing new business opportunities.
- Lead the development and execution of targeted sales campaigns and proposals.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our sustainability consulting services to clients.
- Manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities and track key metrics.
3) Practice Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sustainability consulting practice, including project management, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of sustainability consultants.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the practice.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our offerings remain competitive.
4) Financial Performance
- Own the P&L for the sustainability consulting practice, managing costs and revenue to achieve profitability goals.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimise revenue and profitability.
- Monitor and analyse key financial metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record in sustainability consulting sales, with a deep understanding of the market and client needs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental and social impact.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, engineering, or business administration.
- Certification in sustainability or related fields (e.g., GRI, LEED, ISO 14001) is a plus.
