We are currently seeking an ambitious and dynamic Sustainability Coordinator for Infrastructure projects to join our Sustainability team in the UK.

A typical week would include:

1. Leading on sustainability deliverables for a wide variety of projects including delivery of BREEAM Infrastructure (previously CEEQUAL) with a focus on regional /national rail, energy and nuclear projects.
2. Project management of certification projects and liaising with specialist colleagues to deliver strategies and reporting in the area of BREEAM Infrastructure.
3. Working in collaboration with EIA colleagues to manage and deliver sustainability outcomes from the earliest stages of the design and planning process.
4. Managing colleagues to deliver projects within programme and budget.
5. Engaging with other WSP specialist disciplines for supporting works e.g. Ecologists, Engineers etc.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Excellent experience of developing and leading implementation of sustainability strategies and programmes on infrastructure projects, including application of BREEAM Infrastructure.
• Sound assessment skills covering multiple development types, with knowledge and / or previous licenses in BREEAM Infrastructure. Note, this should include proven experience in delivery of multiple assessments to certification/ liaison with BRE.
• Experience of writing and reviewing reports, including BREEAM Infrastructure contributions to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Strategic Environmental Assessments.
• A relevant degree and membership of an appropriate environmental, architectural or sustainability body.
• Good knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation is desirable.
• Good knowledge of relevant International Assessment methods and protocols.
• An understanding and enthusiasm for energy and sustainability.
• A can-do attitude with an appetite to learn more and grow.
• Strong personal and project management, time management and resourcing skills.
• A commercial and practical understanding of building design, construction and energy projects would be an advantage.
• Certified BREEAM Infrastructure Assessor (desirable).
