Sustainability Analyst

Fresher / 1 year experience in the field of Sustainability and Green Buildings

B.Arch. + M. Arch/ M. Tech. in relevant field.

Strong knowledge of architecture, sustainability, and energy efficiency concepts.

Effective presentation, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Good drafting and detailing skills essential.

Hands-on experience in MS Office, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, REVIT.

Experience of working with simulation software like Energy Plus, Design Builder, Rhinoceros + Grasshopper, E Quest, ENVI Met, Open Studio, IES, Sefaira, Sim Scale, Ansys CFX, Ansys Fluent, Energy Plus EMS scripting.

IGBC/ LEED/ GRIHA/ WELL Accredited Professionals qualification will be an add on.

_Role:_

• Perform outdoor comfort analysis (Wind, Radiation, Shadow and UHI) to mitigate Urban heat island effect using Design builder, Rhino Grasshopper, Envimet simulation tool.
  

• Perform and Analyze building massing and orientation through computer simulation.
  

• Climatic study to arrive at best suitable comfort system.
  

• Design and optimize window to wall ratio (WWR) and window shading device without compromising on natural light & outdoor view.
  

• Passive architectural design like enhancement of daylight at indoor space without glare through computer simulation using (Rhino Grasshopper/Design builder)
  

• Analyze and optimize building energy systems and design (Envelope Load, HVAC systems, Passive System) through computer simulation (Equest/Design Builder/Open Studio) to support sustainable design.
  

• Perform Energy and Daylight simulation along with report as per green building certification requirement (USGBC LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, WELL).
  

• Prepare logical and comprehensive analysis report with respect to outdoor simulation and building level simulation.
  

• Draft plans, sections, elevations, and details.
  

• Work on good for construction drawings.
  

• Prepare project estimates, and bill of quantities depending on project requirement.
  

• Gather information from the design team, correspondence, meetings.
  

• Communicate and explain the reports to Project manager.
  

• Attend project meetings and follow up on project updates regularly.
