Position Summary:

The role of the Support Engineer, SAP BIB is to provide exceptional support for mission-critical SAP applications as part of our global customer support team. The position has the responsibility for researching, troubleshooting and supporting of multiple SAP modules for our global clients who use both S4 HANA and ECC environments.The role of the Support Engineer, SAP BIB requires the expertise and skills to diagnose serious issues; then develop, test, package and deliver fixes for such issues in complex, integrated and highly configured environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge in HR Business process.
• Understanding the BIB configuration and value mapping in S4 HANA.
• Experience in translating client business rules to technical business requirements
• Experience with system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and Support.
• Must be able to work independently to extend quality service to the client in application management.
• Expert knowledge of BIB technology in building best integrations between EC, ECC & S4 systems while adhering to best practices and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Architects from Employee Central, ECC & S4 team to design & develop the BIB integration as per the required needs.
• Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagrams, and process diagrams supporting and communicating changes to SuccessFactors platform applications.
• Providing support / guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes.
• Possess strong knowledge on logs and monitoring activity in ECC/HANA
• Assist users in day-to-day operations by replication for error resolution.
• Must have strong command on technical and functional areas of sub modules of SF.
• Understand and analyze integration requirements and implement best practices.
• Handling integration issues effectively regardless of case types and timely deliver.
• Close coordination with Data management and collaborative work approach with Payroll, Finance teams to make sure the data errors been solved in time with no or less impact on process.
• Ensure data accuracy by frequent checks between SF sub modules, SAP ECC, SAP S4 HANA.
• Drive integration related activities between SuccessFactors & SAP ECC primarily related to master data replication between both systems
• Fluency in English is required
• Attention to detail and the ability to learn quick
• Extreme focus on Client satisfaction
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP BIB
• SAP R3 & SAP S4 HANA
• SAP SuccessFactors
• HR ABAP
• A consulting background would be useful
• Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage
