- Work as a supply chain strategy business analyst, as part of the SCS team on projects across product categories and regions
- Contribute to strategic business initiatives and support in driving the business groups leadership agendas in supply chain and operations topics
- Perform end-to-end operational optimizations, identify opportunities and deliver recommendations through in-depth data analysis
- Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing mix and business strategies.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.
- Examples of projects: manufacturing network design, make vs. buy, capital investment evaluations, complexity cost optimisation, design to value, route-to-market, cost to serve, internal and external benchmarking, competitive intelligence, E2E value chain analysis, etc.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in consulting, consumer goods, apparel or retail is preferred
- Prior experience in: data analysis, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, digital supply chain or ecommerce is a plus
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications
- A good understanding of cost accounting, financial accounting and project management
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capability and critical thinking
- Comfortable in cross-functional teams, preferably in a multicultural environment
- Masters qualification preferred especially in engineering, supply chain, finance or marketing
- Good storyboarding and presentation skills
- Fluent in English
