upliance.ai is a smart, connected home appliances company. We were founded in 2021 and as of today, we have built our first product and selling it pan-India. As sales increase and our scope goes up, our supply chains (on the components as well as finished goods side) both present opportunities for deep, structural, and ongoing changes. We are looking to hire an individual who will join our team as a Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing Specialist for this purpose.

Job Overview:

As a Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our stock, optimizing warehouse operations with our fulfilment partners, and participate in (and eventually own) strategic relationships. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and strong relationship management. This is ideal for someone who has spent some time gaining exposure to supply chain management, and is looking to accelerate their growth by taking on a high-responsibility, high-agency role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stock Management and Warehouse Optimization:

- Monitor and manage stock levels across our warehouses.

- Analyze and determine optimal warehouse splits and delivery times.

- Run analytics projects to isolate causes of returns and Non-Delivery Reports (NDRs).

- Implement projects to reduce NDR rates.

- Coordinate relationships with fulfillment partners to ensure efficient delivery operations.

2. Strategic Sourcing:

- Deeply understand our display supply chain and coordinate on details.

- Gain a thorough understanding of our electronics supply chain and manage coordination.

- Identify and establish strategic partnerships in the electronics sector to secure better pricing.

- Drive savings through strategic partnerships in key areas such as electronics.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years of experience in sourcing and fulfillment, preferably in Logistics, supply chain or storage companies.

- Strong analytical skills with a track record of running successful projects.

- Excellent coordination and relationship management skills.
